Frequently Asked Questions |
| HOW YOU DEFINE LIGHT WEIGHT CONCRETE (LWC) ? |
A concrete which have a density and compressive strength very similar to wood. They are easy to work with, can be nailed with ordinary nails, cut with a saw, drilled with woodworking tools, easily repaired .
Its strength is roughly proportional to its weight and its resistance to weathering is about the same as that of ordinary concrete. As compared with the usual sand and gravel concrete it has certain advantages. That are the savings in structural steel supports and decreased foundation sizes because of decreased loads, and better fire resistance and insulation against heat and sound. |
| |
| WHERE I CAN USE INSULITTE LWC ? |
| The principal use of lightweight concrete in construction of underbeds for floors and roof slabs, where substantial savings can be effected by decreasing dead load. It is also used in some insulated sections of floors and walls. |

| GIVE US SOME BRIEF ABOUT YOUR COMPANY AND PRODUCT ? |
Enercon (A D’WANS VENTURE), the energy conservators , and developers of conventional methods for curbing heat has incorporated a low cost , light weight ,Thermal , Acoustic ,Fire insulating material INSULITTE , by which the heat wave transmission can be reduced upto almost by 10-40%* , and hence having low thermal conductivity and , is non compressable too. Its hollow closed micro-cells prevents all heat exchange through conduction and radiation. Its particles also immobilise the air that is present, preventing heat transmission through convection , thereby leading a permanent energy savings
INSULITTE :
INSULITTE, biogenic opal, is an unique formula composed of naturally occurring puffed silicious material , blended with fiberous polymer liquid and air entraining agents, engineered for light weight aggregates used for low cost and permanent roof insulation ,also it is environmental friendly by eliminating the use of bricks which consume fertile soil required to grow food for our vast population |
| |
| WHAT ARE THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF INSULITTE LWC ? |
- 100% ECO FRIENDLY , NON COMPRESSABLE , LIGHT WEIGHT , INORGANIC ,INERT , NON-HAZARDOUS , LOW THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY , EASILY SLOPE TO DRAIN ,SIMPLE & EASE IN APPLICATION
- REDUCES HEAT TRANSMISSION BY 10-40%* AND INCREASE BUILDING COMFORT
- REDUCES A.C POWER CONSUMPTION UPTO 10-25%*
- RAT ,VERMIN AND TERMITE PROOF , PERMANENT , AND LONG LASTING

| Describe the competitive advantages of the company and why has become the most favourable to Building Industry ? |
Please describe the environmental benefits that your product or service delivers ?
We need not engage in a mining or manufacturing process that generates air pollution, water pollution or erosion. We need not engage in a manufacturing process that depletes our reserves of fossil fuels (as with polystyrene, polyisocyanurate and polyurethane insulation). With we do not use chlorine-based chemicals such as phosgene, propylene chlorohydrin, any ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons.
We do not use urea formaldehyde, and surely none of the phenol formaldehyde used in most fiberglass insulation.
We do not have to worry about the irritability or cacinogenicity of dust and fibers. |
